    We will charge VAT on all our weddings, events and corporate catering. This will be displayed as a separate line at the bottom of your invoice.

  • We pride ourselves for working with a team of passionate, professional suppliers. We use locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.

    Our suppliers deliver fresh local products to our east London HQ for our chefs to prepare for your wedding, event or corporate catering.

  • For any catering that requires disposable platters, boxes, cutlery etc (usually wedding evening catering, or delivery only event and corporate catering), Salters Events is proud to only offer eco - disposables.

    This means that all our items are either certified to break down in a home compost bin, or come from sustainable sources. We offer palm leaf platters and bowls, wooden cutlery, reed pulp plates, compostable boxes, paper straws, and unbleached recycled napkins.

  • Salters Events works with a variety of partner equipment hire companies.

    We can arrange everything from crockery, cutlery and glasses, to tables and chairs, linen and even the kitchen sink (We can create a kitchen in any room, so long as we have access to electricity and water)! So If you’re planning on having your event in a marquee, there’s no need to worry about not having a kitchen as we’ll be able to build one.

    We’re happy working in domestic kitchens too, so if you’ve always dreamed of having a garden wedding reception at home, we’ve got you covered.

  • How long is a piece of string?! We've all been there, standing by the door of the kitchen, waiting for the next fresh tray. Because canapés are REALLY EXCITING.

    We reckon most people have had enough after around 6-9 individual canapés.

    If you want to feed your guests substantially throughout the evening, we suggest 3 different types of canapés followed by our grazing boards or bowl food.

  • All our “food delivery only” items come ready prepared and fully garnished in eco disposable boxes. All you need to do is take the lids off and pop them on the table.

    When we’re on site for a serviced event, we’ll take care of everything, you just need to show us where we’re working.

  • We understand dietaries can be challenge and we’d be happy to customise your order. We charge a fee for bespoke orders. Please get in touch and we’ll see what we can do.

  • Yes of course! You would then need some of our chefs and front of house members to come and do their thing, so please don’t hesitate to contact us for a quote.

  • Our store items are made fresh to order. They will arrive with you in a 2 hour window on your chosen delivery day. Please note that ULEZ and/or Congestion Charge applies to these orders.

    For our serviced events, delivery may, or may not be charged.

  • We ask for as much notice as humanly possible!

    Our cut off is 48 hours for store items. Orders will be refunded if they are made within that time frame.

    Bespoke events need a minimum of a weeks notice.
